00:07 Jack Prior Hello, my name is Jack Prior, and I've spent my career as a bioprocess engineer in manufacturing science and biopharma manufacturing. Throughout my career, I've had a focus in whole or in part on leveraging process data and process modeling to monitor, understand, and control process variation for purposes of yield improvement, tech transfer, and troubleshooting. I began my career in the late '80s at MIT looking at how to apply artificial intelligence in bioprocessing, perhaps a little bit too soon, but now forty years later in twenty twenty-six, the time for AI seems to have finally arrived.

A key question this podcast will seek to answer is are we there yet in our data readiness, in our technology, and in our regulatory frameworks? Things are changing exponentially, and there's a lot to absorb on both the technical and regulatory fronts. I realize that most people... I spend a lot of time walking, exercising, commuting, listening to podcasts, so I set out to see if I could create something useful in this space on the topic of AI in biomanufacturing.
01:05 Jack Prior To get fully up to speed on the evolving regulatory space, I found there are at least forty different regulatory guidances and white papers to understand. So for season one, I set out to try and experiment. Could I generate an overview of these documents in a narrative format leveraging AI? The voices you'll hear are AI characters, not me.
